CHALLENGE

Trinity Western University (TWU) in Langley, BC, was overhauling its brand and needed to transform Orientation Week into a primarily digital experience. The goal: create highly accessible, on-demand content that could both inform and inspire new students, featuring diverse representation and interactive elements.

SOLUTION:

Collaborating with the marketing team, I conducted style research and developed concept boards. We replaced actors with respected community leaders to build trust and familiarity. Filming focused on campus “hub” locations, with videos serving as inspiring featurettes that showcased facilities and encouraged involvement. All content was centralized on an exclusive, student-only O-Week website for easy access.

OUTCOMES

The videos saved the orientation team significant time, increased program sign-ups by 200% that year, and continue to be used today.
